No charges will be filed against Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor over a sexual assault allegation made last month by a 27-year-old dancer at Philly strip club, prosecutors announced on Monday.

“As a result of this joint investigation, our staff and the police reached the conclusion that we lacked sufficient evidence to bring charges against Mr. Agholor, therefore no charges will be filed,” Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams said in a statement.

Williams said the decision not to prosecute Agholor came after the women’s claims were “thoroughly investigated” by the the DA’s family violence and sexual assault unit, and Philadelphia police’s special victims unit.

The dancer at the Cheerleaders Gentleman’s Club, which is located near the Eagles’ training facility, reported to police that she had been sexually assaulted in June 9. Two other Eagles players were at the South Philly strip club at the time of the alleged incident, Philadelphia magazine reported.

“Nelson has not been involved in any criminal conduct whatsoever,” Fortunato Perri Jr., Agholor’s attorney, told The Associated Press last month.
